Situated in a prominent position just a few minutes walk from Bakewell town centre, The Manners is a handsome stone built pub that boasts a large car park and a delightful outdoor seating area. Our food is expertly prepared by head chef and landlord Bryan Moran, who has over 20 years experience in the kitchen, many of which spent in restaurants. The Manners is the perfect venue to showcase a more casual style of dining. Signature dishes of slow roast belly pork with black pudding hash sit happily next to pub classics, Bryan’s burger and beer battered scampi tails.
The Manners also offers two beautifully appointed double en-suite letting bedrooms, well behaved dogs welcome.
Our sister property Avenue House is just a few hundred meters from the Manners and is a stunning semi-detached Victorian property, with six en-suite letting bedrooms. Staying at either The Manners or Avenue House, we include a full cooked English Breakfast in the room rate. Breakfast for both properties is served at The Manners. Our aim is to provide our customers with the best experience we can offer and to make any visit as relaxing as possible.
NEW: We are proud to announce that we have a new property for holidays in Bakewell, the delightful Bakewell Barn. This stunning barn conversion sleeping 4 people is tucked away in a quiet corner of Bakewell Town Centre.
